Mission Statement

The Capital City Flute Club (CCFC) is a non-profit organization which serves the performance and music education needs of the greater Boise and Idaho flute community. 

Inclusion:

The Capital City Flute Club is a safe place for ALL flute enthusiasts. The CCFC values diversity and is welcoming to all, regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion. All members are expected to maintain an atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive and avoid any statements or actions that could lead to another member feeling unsafe or unwelcome.

Membership

Active Membership is open to flute students, teachers, professionals and hobbyists ages 12 and up. Annual membership fee of $30 for adults, secures membership from August 1 through July 31 each year. Student memberships are $15.

There is an additional fee of $20 for members who choose to participate in the Capital City Flute Orchestra.

Member Benefits

Members are included in current, area flute news and invited to perform in any of the CCFC Ensembles. Members may opt to have contact information and/or a link for their studio listed on the CCFC website. Membership is required for attendance at the annual CCFC Flute Fest event.

Ensembles

Capital City Flute Orchestra (CCFO) is open to the general membership of the CCFC. CCFC members pay an additional fee of $20, which covers the cost of music, venues, programs, etc. for the membership year. CCFO performs two concerts annually, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. The CCFO also participates in events around the community, such as art shows, Festival of Trees, and private events. Rehearsals take place on a weekly basis, in preparation for each respective performance. Music performed includes levels 3 and 4.
