CCFC members are invited to perform in the Capital City Flute Orchestra (CCFO). CCFO is a non-auditioned ensemble and rehearses weekly on Thursdays. The orchestra includes piccolo, C flute, alto flute, bass flute and contrabass flute. The orchestra performs a fall and spring concert each year. Music performed includes levels 3 and 4. Flute orchestra members also participate in a variety of volunteer performance opportunities within the Boise community such as art shows, Festival of Trees and private events. There is an additional membership cost for CCFO members to cover expenses for music, rehearsal spaces, and performance venues. The Capital City Junior Flute Choirs a non-auditioned ensemble and rehearses weekly on Thursdays and performs joint concerts with the Capital City Flute Orchestra. The Junior Flute Choir performs music that best fits the performance levels of the students involved in the ensemble.

Youth CCFC members are invited to perform in the Capital City Junior Flute Choir (CCJFC). THe CCJFC is a non-auditioned ensemble and rehearses weekly on Thursdays. There is an additional membership cost for CCJFC members to cover expenses for music, rehearsal spaces, and performance venues.

Members are welcome to attend any of our flute workshops and participate in our annual Flute Fest event. CCFO also has multiple performances throughout the year that are open to the public.

Flute Fest is Boise's biennial gathering to celebrate flutes and flutists. Enjoy a full day of flute choirs, concerts, workshops, vendors, a master class and solo competitions.

Our biennial recital is all about celebrating our members, building confidence, and enjoying the music we love.
