Flute Fest 2025
Competition Registration

Thank you for your interest in CCFC's flute fest competitions!

To enter you must:

  1. complete your registration for flute fest (see our event page for ticket info)

  2. submit your recordings and complete the competition form below

The submission deadline is January 17th, 2025.

Flute Fest Competition Registration Form

Which competition(s) are you registering for?

For the solo competitions, please upload the round one recordings only. If selected, you will perform the round two selections at Flute Fest. For the master classes, please submit the piece you plan to perform at Flute Fest.


Round 1 Recordings:

  • High School: Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando by Phillippe Gaubert

  • Collegiate: Court Dances for flute and piano, Movement 3, Tambourin by Amanda Harberg

  • Master Class: piece of your choice (5-8 minutes in length)


You may upload your recordings as an mp4 file using the button below, or provide an unlisted YouTube link to your recording

If selected, you will be required to perform the following pieces live at Flute Fest on March 1st:

  • High School: Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando by Phillippe Gaubert; Winter Spirits, by Katherine Hoover

  • Collegiate: Court Dances for flute and piano (1. Courant, 2. Air de Cour, 3. Tambourin; Memory by Chen Yi

  • Master Class: piece of your choice (5-8 minutes in length)

Do you need an accompanist if selected for the Master Class or solo finals? Accompanist fee is $65 and can be paid online (https://www.capitalcityfluteclub.com/donate).
Yes, I need an accompanist and agree to the $65 fee
No, I will provide my own accompanist OR my piece does not require an accompanist
If selected to perform, I agree to be present at the competition/masterclass on March 1st and understand that all pianist fees and rehearsals will be my responsibility. If I must withdraw, I will notify the CCFC via email in a timely manner.
