Flute Fest 2026
Competition Registration

Thank you for your interest in CCFC's flute fest competitions!

To enter you must:

submit your recordings and complete the competition form below
if selected to perform at flute fest, you must also complete your registration for the flute fest full day event (see our event page for ticket info)

The submission deadline is December 15th, 2025.

CCFC hosts a high school solo competition, a collegiate solo competition and a master class as part of our annual Flute Fest event.

For round one of the competition participants will submit a recording of the required repertoire. If selected, participants will perform live at Flute Fest for the final round of compeition. Winners of the high school and collegiate solo competitions will receive a cash prize.

The competition repertoire is as follows:

HS Soloist Competition:

Hypnosis for Flute and Piano, by Ian Clarke

Collegiate Competition:

Suite for Flute and Piano, Op. 34, by Charles-Marie Widor, IV Final

The repertoire for the recorded, first round and the live, final round is the same. Both rounds will require piano accompaniment.

Do you need an accompanist if selected for the Master Class or solo finals? Accompanist fee is $65 and can be paid online (https://www.capitalcityfluteclub.com/donate).
